Nothing extra to pay at the meeting point. Every booking includes all of this.
Book for two and it's the two of you. Book for six and it's your six. We never put different bookings together to fill a slot, and that's why we don't use vans.
Nobody hands you off to a driver or a stranger halfway through. The cousin who answers your message is the one who walks with you.
Getting up the hill is half the fun and it's already included. You're not paying extra at the bottom of the road.
Every tour we run is logged in the Favela Turismo app, the official register for tourism inside the community.
Every price is per person, and everything on this list is already in it: the moto-taxi rides up and back down, and your registration in the Favela Turismo app. There is nothing to pay at the meeting point. Bring one person along and you both pay R$ 260 instead of R$ 300.

We were in two minds about doing a favela tour, but knowing that we were being showed around by two people who grew up in Rocinha and still live there [...] put our minds at ease. Great individuals, both of the cousins are genuinely kind and compassionate humans. I witnessed many instances of this on our tour, they picked stuff up for an elderly lady, high fives the kids and gave them a trinket, talked with and hugged many people.
